miss lolly dolly......how to

you will need....large wooden lolly sticks
pens,washi tapes, buttons, trims
....draw on your fabulous hairdo using the pens...
add features....
wrap washi tape around the stick to look like clothes and draw on collars, buttons etc...
draw on legs and shoes (and then wish you had a dress and tights just like them)
keep going and make lots more...they are addictive..and this craft is not just for girls, while I sat happily making these yesterday... my table was invaded by boys who then interpreted their own versions into marvel superguys ...they were quickly whisked off to adorn their bedroom walls, which is why there are no pics of green goblin versions :)
my lolly dollys are off on their jollys....
lucky girls......
I on the other hand am attempting to list a few things on etsy this week and have been busy with the scissors and the vintage wallpapers again.....

  9. Fabulous. Thanks for the idea Jane, know my two would love this one. Left them and Mike with a pot of glue and paper last week when I went to work and they created lovely stuff. It's the hairdo's that make me love them so on yours.

  15. Oh my goodness! These are so adorable! My daughters have one week left of their summer vacation. I'm wanting to do lots of art projects with them this week. These just made it on my list. I know my girls will love these! Now, to find out if I can get the tape here in the U.S. :)

  46. Oh, so cute. We LOOOOOVED your sweet and simple idea. Took the "stuff" for it to family camp and came up with a bunch of our own! I did not have Washi tape, so we just used scraps of scrapbooking paper glued on. Worked great. Thanks for the wonderful craft.     Thank you so much for this awesome idea. I have 2 out-of-school-for-the-summer 10 year old girls who are so into it! They're using fine point Sharpies which are bleeding quite a bit so they're wondering what you used. I don't know if you'll even see this, but thought it was worth as ask.

      Just saw this :) sharpies did bleed on ours too so we switched to a good old biro type ball point pen and that worked great as did gel pens x x x x have fun x x x x
