How to Draw Phineas Playing Guitar from Phineas and Ferb for Kids : Step by Step Drawing Lesson

Do you want to learn how to draw Phineas from Phineas and Ferb? In this one he will be playing a guitar. My kids have a favorite cartoon on Disney and that is Phineas and Ferb. I have to admit that I love it too. My husband and I just crack up every time we see this show.  I have put together a step-by-step tutorial that will help you figure out how to draw Phineas by using simple shapes to build up Phineas’s form. This is an intermediate cartooning tutorial that older kids, teens, and adults will enjoy. Even some younger children might be able to draw Phineas if you stand by to help with the instructions. Enjoy!

Step 1

Sketch out a basic upside down triangle shape like the one pictured above. Did you ever notice that Phineas has a triangle shaped head?Sketching out the basic shapes (lightly) before drawing the more specific shape of Phineas, is an easy way to get a better drawing.

Step 2

Now draw out the more specific shape of his head…the triangle is a little curved at the back. Also draw his big smile.

Step 3

Now draw Phineas’ teeth, his tongue and the back side of his mouth.

Step 4

Now draw Phineas’ ear. Draw a half circle with a ‘3′ inside of it for his ear. Draw the freckles at the top right corner of the triangle (head).

Step 5

Now draw Phineas’ eyes. Phineas has circular eyes…you can see one in entirety but only part of the back eye. Also draw the pupils.

Step 6

Now draw Phineas’ hair which looks like a plant.

Step 7

Now draw Phineas’ shirt.

Step 8

Draw Phineas’ left arm and hand.

Step 9

Now time to draw the outer shape of a guitar.

Step 10

To make the guitar 3d draw another top of the guitar slightly above the car…and at the bottom right of the guitar just draw a right corner.

Step 11

Now draw the details of the guitar.

Step 12

And the strings and strap.

Step 13

Draw Phineas’ right arms and fingers…as well as lines on the guitar.

Step 14

Draw the bottom of Phineas’ shorts.

Step 15 – Finished Phineas Playing a Guitar Character

Draw Phineas’ feet and lets.

Step 16

Draw the lines on Phineas’ t-shirt and the details of his shoes.

Step 17 – Finished Phineas Playing a Guitar Character

Now you just have to erase lines that you don’t need and outline the ‘correct’ lines with a pen or marker. Now you will have an amazing cartoon Phineas drawing from Phineas and Ferb to show off to your friends.
